The Foundation Science for Development has just completed activities of the project entitled: “The improvement of the youth quality education in the field of veterinary medicine in Tanzania by enhancement of the teaching conditions” planned for the year 2019 , which was co-financed by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs according to Polish Aid Programme. The Beneficiaries of the project were two institutions involved in the education in the field of veterinary medicine in Tanzania: College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Sokoine University of Agriculture in Morogoro, and Livestock Training Agency – Tengeru (Arusha). According to the project there were successfully adapted and rehabilitated two laboratory classrooms dedicated for the education activities. They have been fitted with the modern laboratory and technical equipment. As the completion of the infrastructural investment works there were special trainings carried out dedicated to the academic staff of SUA and LITA institutions. The academic teachers from Warsaw Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (Warsaw University of Life Sciences-SGGW) conducted lectures and classes. Thus SUA and LITA staffs have had the opportunity to enlarge their knowledge and technical skills in the field of topographical anatomy and clinical aspects of animal diagnostics. The project activities started in 2019 will be continued for the year 2020.
