Improvement of the quality of youth education in veterinary sciences in Tanzania through the improvement of teaching conditions.”

Project 137/2019/M: „Improvement of the quality of youth education in veterinary sciences in Tanzania through the improvement of teaching condition.” This new project which is carrying curently by the Foundation Science for Development. The project is supporeted by some of academic staff of Faculty of Veternary Medicine of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences-SGGW. Project as a part of Polish Aid Program is co-financed by the Poland’s Development Cooperation Programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. The beneficiary of the project are: 1/ College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Sokoine University of Agriculture – the only one agricultural university in Tanzania; and Livestock Training Agency in Tengeru (Arusha) – an institution subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the United Republic of Tanzania. According to the project the laboratories of both institutions will be comprehensively modernised and fitted with the modern laboratory equipment. There will be also organised a set of trainings for the academic and technical staff to enhance their skills in the field of laboratory diagnostics of animal diseases.
